Administrative Opening for the 2018-2019 School Year

Elementary Principal: Lakeview Elementary School


  • Masters Degree in Educational Leadership or equivalent.

  • Michigan Administrative Certification, or equivalent, or ability to achieve certification.

  • Valid Elementary Teacher Certification, minimum of three years elementary teaching experience, knowledge of curriculum development, Michigan standards and best practices.

  • Strong background in early childhood literacy, experience working with MDE School Improvement (Advanc-Ed) and data analysis, ability to work as a collaborative team leader.

  • Commitment to Professional Learning Communities.

  • Duties include responsibility for student management and discipline, supervision of all staff and programs within building.

Foster Elementary 6.0 Hour Aide Position

Student supervision, serving breakfast & lunch, kitchen duties, must be able to operate a point of sale cash handling system and be SafeServ certified. Franklin Elementary 6.0 Hour Aide Position

6 hours per school day. Successful applicant must be Highly Qualified. At-Risk 4 hrs. per school day. Work with students on goal-setting, manage goal setting tasks and coordinate with classroom teachers to support classroom work based on individual student data. Work with small groups of students on math/literacy skills. General student supervision 2 hrs. per school day. Supervise students at lunch, recess, busses and perform lice checks. Gaps in schedule. Lakeview 3.0 Hour Aide Position

3.0 hours per day working 1:1 with a special needs student. CPI training required and experience working with ASD students preferred, Duties include redirection of student behavior and attention and will also include sensory breaks. Ludington High School  3.0 hours Food Service Aide Position 

3 hours per school day. Must be ServSafe certified and able to lift up to 50 pounds. Point of service register training is required as well as annual  professional development. Employees and students who violate this policy prohibiting the use or possession of illegal drugs while on school district property will continue to be subject to legal and disciplinary action.
